Cyber Senior
A video agent that helps identify scams and fraud, a problem projected to reach $129.4 billion
The idea
What it is
My father was scammed out of $50k. This problem hits home for me. The senior-focused cybersecurity and fraud prevention market is an emerging niche within the broader global fraud detection industry, projected to reach $129.4 billion by 2033. Most scam tools are build for digital natives. Cyber senior flips that model by treating the conversation itself as the safety mechanism. Instead of only dropping in a file, it keeps an NLP chatbot open throughout, creating a simplified, easy and understandable interface that requires no technical requirements. The barrier for elderly or non technical is not just the vulnerability of being scammed, but confidence, comprehension under stress. Enter cyber senior, the conversational guide that talks them through it, answers questions, reassures them in real time and mirrors how seniors actually prefer to get help: by talking to someone, not reading a manual. After talking my father off the phone while he was talking to scammers trying to get his banking information, we need to protect our loved ones and their safety and security for the family they worked so hard for.
Functionality
What it does
A senior opens cybersenior and is greeted by a live video agent (powered by Tavus). Pat- an inviting elder male with a calming voice stays ont he screen the entire time. The user describes what they are worried about (text, email, screenshot, or talking through out loud). Pat walks them through and analyzes the potential threat of the scam. It would be urgency language, spoofed logos, suspicious links, requests for money, etc. Pat, the onscreen agent explains the verdict in conversation and plain language what the potential scam is, how to fix it, and steps to remediation all while remaining calm. The user can interact in conversational language real time and get an immediate spoken answer.

Roadmap
What's next
As most seniors operate on webpage and are already skeptical to download apps, I would enhance and index the presence of the webpage first. I would create an iOs and android app, with a freemium business model. As seniors are already skeptical, getting mass adoption is key first. After a certain amount of chats/uploads, we would move to a paid tier. Working with elderly is about trust. Partnering and being sponsored by large institutions with widespread distribution like AARP and the Veteran community would be my next move. I would also partner and work with insurance companies who would be looking to protect from payouts, and banks who want to enhance their retail offering.
